PROFILE: Tecsult Eduplus Inc. is a subsidiary company of Tecsult Group, one of the main multidisciplinary consultancy firms in Canada.

With nearly 20 years of experience, EDUPLUS ranks first in its field of activity in Canada and is carving its way through the international market. It has directed many sizeable projects in education, human resources development and management consultancy worldwide.

Over the last few years, Tecsult Eduplus has developed its expertise in information technology, with special emphasis on computer-mediated education and training. The use of information technology will soon be a must even in the developing countries.

Tecsult Eduplus (Information Technologies division) is managing two huge international projects Afrinet and Afriweb. The main objective of Afrinet is to provide ten countries of West Africa with access to the Internet. Afrinet is a joint project of “Agence de la Francophonie” and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada, to provide the equipment to access to the Internet, to support designated operators and train staff in the setting up and operation of Internet services. Afriweb is financed by the Government of Quebec. This project supports the conception, development and management of web sites in five countries of Francophone Africa. Some experts from Tecsult Eduplus work on a professional training. Afrinet and Afriweb received the President’s Award, Multimedia and InfoHighways International Trade Fair, Montreal 1997.

The firm is active in about 45 countries, distributed in Africa, Latin America, Asia, East Europe and in the Russian Federation.

TECSULT EDUPLUS Inc. acts as executive agency for many projects financed by the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Inter-American Development Bank, Agence de la Francophonie, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and many federal and provincial ministries.
